    What: Talk by Neil M. Gorsuch, Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court

    When: Thursday, September 21 at 2 p.m.

    Where: UofL School of Music, Comstock Hall

    Media Parking: North Information Center parking lot. Enter campus off Cardinal Blvd. (across from duPont Manual High School), go straight through the four-way stop to the information center for directions to a parking space.

    Media Credentials: Requests for credentials should be directed to Mark Hebert no later than the close of business on Tuesday, Sept. 19.

    Coverage: The U.S. Supreme Court communications office has provided these guidelines for media coverage of Justice Gorsuch’s visit: Still camera, pencil and pad coverage only. Recording devices are permitted for note taking purposes and not for broadcast. Still photographers should be limited to the first 1-2 minutes and last 1-2 minutes of the program. Reporters should be seated in a separate section and should not participate in any Q&A with the audience. The Justice will not be available for any interviews or press availabilities during his visit.

    Following a 28-year career as a radio and television reporter, Mark Hebert joined the University of Louisville as the Director of Media Relations in 2009, serving as the main spokesperson. In 2015, Mark was named Director of Programming and Production. He’s now producing and hosting a radio show about “all things UofL”, overseeing the university’s video and TV productions and promoting UofL’s research operation. Mark is best known for his 22 years as the political and investigative reporter for WHAS-TV in Louisville where he won numerous awards for breaking stories, exposing corruption and objectively covering Kentucky politics. In 2014, Mark was inducted into the Kentucky Journalism Hall of Fame.
