The 2006 book, which McLeod co-edited with Kenneth Robbins, features a series of essays by specialists in the history, currency, architecture and art history of South Asia. McLeod’s research centers on the history of India during the colonial period; he also wrote the books “The History of India” and “Sovereignty, Power, Control: Politics in the States of Western India, 1916-1947.”
The book talk will begin at 6 p.m. in the University Club on Belknap Campus. Copies of his book will be available for purchase; light refreshments will be provided.
