The UofL Physicians Parkinson’s Disease Spring Symposium will be held at the Rudd Heart and Lung Center’s Conference Center at 220 Abraham Flexner Way in Louisville. The event will begin at 5 p.m. and last until 7:30 p.m.
Speakers from the interdisciplinary team at UofL Physicians – Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders, a practice within UofL Physicians – Neurosciences, will provide an overview of new developments in Parkinson’s disease and treatment options, with a focus on neuromodulation therapies.
Later in the program, there will be two breakout sessions: “Living with Deep Brain Stimulation” and “Neuropsychological and Psychosocial Considerations in Parkinson’s Disease.” At 7 p.m., there will be an “Ask the Experts” panel discussion.
