LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville’s Black Diamond Choir will sponsor a blood drive Tuesday, Nov. 6, as part of its 21st annual Feed Families for Christmas food drive.
The blood drive will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Office of Minority Affairs building on U of L’s Belknap Campus. Participants are asked to register in advance and to donate one canned good or nonperishable item.
The food drive will continue through Friday, Nov. 16. Nonperishable items, canned goods, gift certificates and cash donations may be delivered to the Office of Minority Affairs building weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Other Belknap Campus collection points for canned goods only include the Upward Bound Office on the second floor of Strickler Hall, the Student Government Association Office on the third floor of the Swain Student Activities Center and the Kent School of Social Work in Oppenheimer Hall.
Other collection points include the School of Nursing at the K Building on the Health Sciences campus and the U of L Community Relations Office in the Nia Center at 29th and Broadway.
Individual or group volunteers also are needed to help prepare and deliver food baskets.
