LOUISVILLE, Ky.– The 2001 edition of Minority Voices magazine, a University of Louisville Office of Minority Affairs publication, is now available for purchase.
The 88-page magazine costs $5. It features minorities in all walks of life and highlights U of L’s Office of Minority Affairs and its constituents.
This year’s issue features interviews with the first all African-American slate of U of L Student Government Association officers. It includes interviews with cultural and historical entities in the area and focuses on local black businesses.
The magazine also includes articles that deal with minority health issues including diabetes and HIV/AIDS. Interviews with local ministers who represent diversity through their profession and updates on U of L graduates’ current lifestyles also are included.
The magazine also includes a resource guide for current and prospective students and a collection of poetry.
