Louisville, Ky.–The University of Louisville School of Dentistry is conducting a study to test the effectiveness of a new manual toothbrush for people with bleeding gums.
The study will require each participant to visit the dental school four times during a six-week period. One visit will take about 60 to 90 minutes, while each of the other three visits will last about 30 minutes.
Each participant will receive a toothbrush, toothpaste and $100 upon completion of the four study visits. Participation is limited to the first 100 eligible volunteers between the ages of 18 and 65.
