Thousands of additional Kentuckians and Hoosiers will be seeing the good news and great work happening at the University of Louisville. Beginning in February, “UofL Today with Mark Hebert” will be a weekly, 3-5 minute segment on WHAS-TV’s Great Day Live program while KET KY – The Kentucky Channel will be airing episodes of the “UofL Today with Mark Hebert” radio shows to a statewide audience.
At WHAS-TV, Hebert will join Great Day Live hosts Rachel Platt and Terry Meiners each Monday morning at 9 with a story about research, students, programs or events at UofL. The first two segments will feature George Pantalos and his students’ NASA astrosurgery research and the capstone projects completed by UofL mechanical engineering students.
Every Thursday at 5 p.m., KET KY will be showing video versions of the “UofL Today with Mark Hebert” radio shows similar to those which are already airing five times a week on MetroTV, Louisville’s government access channel. Since July, Hebert has hosted 49 programs featuring nearly 150 guests – UofL faculty, staff and students – on WLCL-FM, 93.9TheVille. The radio programs air on Monday and Tuesday nights at 6 p.m. with replays Saturday and Sunday mornings at 8.
