    This month, the PEACC Program is kicking off a new consent campaign aimed at teaching students, faculty and staff the importance of gaining consent before engaging in sexual activity.     4.) Get money to travel/study in Africa

    Have you been dreaming of traveling to Africa? UofL is proud to announce the application for the 2015/2016 Roberson Fund for African Studies is now open to all faculty, staff and students interested in summer travel to Africa. Priority will be given to those who intend on studying in Northern Ghana, but other locations in Africa are applicable as well. The deadline to apply is March 16.

    Has your lab produced unique purified proteins, modified cell lines, monoclonal antibody stocks, mouse models, or unique plasmids? The Office of Technology Transfer is interested in speaking with faculty regarding commercialization potential of faculty research tools.

    14.) Medicine: Dr. Jeffrey Callen

    Medicine Grand Rounds features Jeffrey P. Callen, MD, UofL professor of medicine and chief of the division of dermatology. Dr. Callen will present Recognition, Diagnosis and Management of Mucocutaneous Autoimmune Blistering Diseases, focusing in how to diagnose/differentiate immunobullous diseases from non-immunologic causes of blistering skin disease, developing evaluation schemes for patients with autoimmune blistering disease, and managing immunobullous disease effectively.
