Headed off for a summer break, vacation or research trip? Don’t leave a huge carbon footprint in your wake. Take a few moments before you go to make sure your office or lab won’t be wasting energy while you’re away. Help us reduce our $1 million monthly utility bill by turning off all lights, computers and equipment, setting thermostats warmer, shutting all windows tightly, and unplugging everything possible: chargers, coffee makers, empty refrigerators and other non-essential equipment.
