    DID YOU KNOW?

More than 60 student journalists from in and around Kentucky have signed up so far for Louisville Media Institute 2014, the first conference of its kind at UofL. Those attending the Sept. 19-20 event in Chao Auditorium at Ekstrom Library will take part in sessions led by a dozen news professionals  on everything from investigative reporting to social media. Lyndsey Gilpin and Conner Forrest, two UofL communication graduates who now work for CBS Interactive, will be among the presenters. The icebreaker?  Student journalists will be asked to take a selfie with someone they don’t know and write a headline about it.
