1.) Phoenix House Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Dedication planned

The JB School of Engineering and Conn Center of Renewable Energy Research invite you to the Phoenix House Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Dedication. The Phoenix House was built as the UofL/Ball State entry into the 2013 Department of Energy Solar Decathlon competition, where it won the affordability challenge. It is now located in the JB Speed School complex and will serve as the Conn Center’s living laboratory for studying renewable energy and energy efficiency prototype technologies.

2.) Bookstore closed May 13-May 19
UofL is currently transitioning to a new bookstore provider, Follett Higher Education Group. As part of that transition, the bookstore will be closed starting at 5 p.m. May 13. It will reopen at 8 a.m. May 19.

7.) Children 8 to 13 years needed for anxiety and worry study
Room 363, Life Sciences Building, Belknap Campus
Are you stressed? Is your child stressed, anxious, or worried? We can help. The UofL Developmental Psychopathology Lab is conducting a study examining the nature of worry and anxiety in parents and children. Parents and their children between the ages of 8 and 13 years are eligible to participate. Participants will be compensated $20 for their time and receive free diagnostic interviews, detailed feedback and a report outlining the results of our assessment.
