DID YOU KNOW Jessi A. Eichberger (BFA in Art 2012) is working in Hollywood and has been participating in many productions including “LaLa Land” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” While a student at UofL, Eichberger worked in drawing, fibers, and Chinese calligraphy. She was a double major in Theatre Arts.
FACULTY AND STAFF NOTABLES Ambareen Jan, an OB/GYN who is completing her fellowship in minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery at UofL, has written a piece titled “Healing in the Void,” which was published last week in “The Islamic Monthly.” The article focuses on her work with Syrian refugees in Jordan and is available online.

Brandeis School of Law to celebrate 15th anniversary of Central HS partnershipThe Brandeis School of Law’s Central High School Partnership is celebrating its 15 anniversary at an event Feb. 16. The partnership, a UofL Signature Partnership, is an effort to promote diversity in the law profession. The event is from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Louisville Bar Association, 600 W. Main St., Ste. 110. The program will include recognition of Central students and supporters and the awarding of a scholarship to a Brandeis Law student. Additional Information: Bethany Daily
Cast calls for PINK scheduledPINK, UofL’s student-directed, amateur drag show, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The fundraising event is March 31 at 8 p.m. at the SAC/MPR. Proceeds benefit the LGBT Center. There will be two cast calls ahead of the event for those wanting to brainstorm ideas. They are Feb. 7 at noon at SAC W309K, and 6 p.m. at the LGBT Center.
