Each summer, UofL hosts more than 2,800 incoming freshmen and their parents for a two-day orientation session. The new Cardinals register for classes, learn about campus services such as banking options, student housing and academic advising and, of course, learn the C-A-R-D-S cheer.
For some students and parents, this is their first time spending any time on UofL’s campus.
“We’re impressed with the city, we’re impressed with the university, the programs they offer. The people are very welcoming. That was a huge dynamic for us to make sure (our son) transitioned well,” said Suzanne Wilson, from Chicago.
