DID YOU KNOW UofL’s Youth Violence Prevention Research Center, an entity of the School of Public Health and Information Sciences, along with the Louisville Metro Mayor’s Office for Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods, hosted a block party on Saturday to kick off YVPRC’s three-year social norming campaign aimed at reducing youth violence in Louisville by practicing Pride, Peace, Prevention. The center was established in 2015 after the SPHIS received a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
