DID YOU KNOW UofL Criminal Justice major, Captain Suzanne Miller, UofL Air Force ROTC, was awarded a 2017 Patriot Award by the Louisville Armed Forces Committee for Outstanding Air Force ROTC Cadet. She was presented the award at the recent Armed Forces Day Banquet.
FACULTY AND STAFF NOTABLES Vicki Hines-Martin PhD, RN, FAAN, professor and director, Office of Health Disparities and Community Engagement, School of Nursing , presented a paper on “Global mental health, nursing leadership and cross national collaboration” at the International Council of Nurses (ICN) Congress in Barcelona, Spain, in May. The congress was attended by 8,000 nurse leaders from more than 100 countries and members of the World Health Organization.
