Training sessions for revised posting grid developed by Controller’s office

As the Controller’s office continues to improve the efficiency of cash postings and cash handling reporting, a revised posting grid has been developed, encompassing feedback from throughout the University. Beginning June 1, 2018 a new, more efficient, posting grid will be required. The new grid gives the departments the option and ability to combine their current posting grid with the existing requirement of maintaining the cash/check handling log. On the go live date of June 1, 2018, we will no longer be able to accept the old (current) posting grid. There will be three interactive training sessions, hosted by individuals from University Accounting, Treasury Management, and Business Operations/Shared Services. We highly recommend anyone that currently is, or foreseeably could be, responsible for creating and sending posting information to University Accounting or Business Operations attend one of these training sessions to help answer any questions that may arise.
    Training times and locations are:

    • Tuesday, May 15th from 1pm-3pm in the Shumaker Building, Room 139
    • Thursday, May 24th 10am-12pm in MITC, Room 201
    • HSC Tuesday, May 22nd 1pm-3pm in Abell Room 110

With this link, you will find the new, combined grid as well as the instructions for its completion.
