Center for Free Enterprise announces spring speakers

    James Otteson will speak at the Center for Free Enterprise in the College of Business.

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Center for Free Enterprise at the University of Louisville College of Business will present a free, public program, “Honorable Business: A Framework for Business in a Just and Humane Society,” Jan. 30.

    The speaker will be author James R. Otteson, a Wake Forest University economics professor who is the school’s Thomas W. Smith Presidential Chair in Business Ethics and executive director of its Eudaimonia Institute.

    The program is part of the center’s Menard Family Lecture Series and the BB&T Speaker Series. Additional events in the Menard Family Lecture Series are as follows:

    All events begin at 4:30 p.m. in the college’s PNC Horn Auditorium.
