    The Department of Neurosurgery is pleased to have Tie Fang, MD, PhD, present “The State of Neurosurgery and Epilepsy Surgery in China.” Fang is an associate professor in the Beijing Institute of Neurosurgery at Capital Medical University in Beijing, China. Continuing education credit is available, and continental breakfast will be served.

    4.) Lab Safety/Hazardous Waste Training-Belknap Campus

    9:30 a.m. Jan. 4, Chemistry Building Room LL16

    Free

    Everyone who works with chemicals or physical hazards in laboratories must attend this training by Environmental Health and Safety (DEHS). The class provides information on the physical and health hazards of chemicals, fume hoods, personal protective equipment, emergency procedures and the OSHA Lab Standard. Lab workers should attend the LS/HW session if they have not had training in three years. Bring Employee/Student ID number.
