    1.) Noh theater demonstration at the Frazier

    May 17, 2 p.m., Frazier History Museum, 829 W. Main St.

    $12 for adults (free with admission)

    Atsuyoshi Asano of the Kanze School in Kyoto will present an introduction to Noh theater including a series of short dances from warrior plays, and a discussion of costuming and masking.

    4.) Musicians and entertainers needed for the Belknap Farmers Market

    Thursdays from May 28 to Oct. 15, 3:30 to 6 p.m., 3rd and Brandeis

    Volunteer musicians and entertainers are needed to perform at the weekly Belknap Farmers Market at 3rd and Brandeis next to the Ville Grill. Come join the fun and entertain the shoppers!

    6.) HSC Office of Diversity & Inclusion’s lunch and learn: “Compassion for ALL in Healthcare

    What if the “Healthcare System” could talk? What would it say as it struggles to infuse the Triple Aim (better care for individuals, for populations and lower costs)? Join Drs. R. Youngson, A. Faul and J. D’Ambrosio, who will conduct a therapeutic session with the “Healthcare System.” We’ll ask questions that remain silenced because we are afraid to rock the boat.     Our speaker will be Dr. Bryan Loy, vice president of oncology, laboratory and personalized medicine at Humana. The title of his talk is Alternative Employment Opportunities for Oncologists – One Person’s Perspective. CRAFT seminars are free and open to all post-docs, and lunch will be provided by The Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

    Presented by John Loughran, MD, UofL assistant professor of medicine, division of cardiovascular medicine. Dr. Loughran will present Stem Cell Therapy for Cardiovascular Pathology; Where Are We Going? focusing on the history of clinical investigations of stem cells in cardiovascular pathology and moving forward.
