1.) Theatre Arts presents 2nd Annual Louisville Loves to Laugh Festival

It’s no joke! Theatre Arts will be celebrating all types of funny on April Fools’ Day during our second annual “variety show of tomfoolery.” All proceeds go to support UofL Theatre Arts students traveling to Italy to perform in “Qu,” a world premiere play by Nobel Prize-winning Italian playwright Dario Fo. This is the final iteration of a multi-year project with UofL and the Accademia dell’arte in Italy. Qu will debut at the International Expo in Milan in May.

2.) 3rd Annual Muhammad Ali Center Athletes and Social Change Forum
April 3-4, Muhammad Ali Center
$100 professionals; $50 students
This year’s forum will focus on Athlete Activism: Past, Present and Future.” The forum is designed to advance education, advocacy and research on the role and contribution of athletes toward social change, human rights and development. We welcome practitioners, scholars, policymakers, athletes and advocates who are working to advance the realm of athletes and social change through the six core values of Muhammad Ali: Respect, Confidence, Conviction, Dedication, Spirituality and Giving.

3.) Sign up for the 18th Annual SPAD Cardinal Classic

The 18th Annual UofL Sport Administration Cardinal Classic is a non-profit, student-run event put on by Chris Greenwell’s SPAD 525 Event Management class. Registration is $110/each or $400/team of four and includes green fees, cart, food and a goodie bag. Golfers will also have the option to participate in a silent auction with various prizes.
