    DID YOU KNOW

    In 2007, the University of Louisville Student Care Team (SCT) was established to provide a regular opportunity for communication between university partners, identifying the resources and support for UofL students who are in need of care, or who are experiencing distress. The 10-year anniversary of the SCT marks a continued collaborative effort at the University of Louisville to support student success. 

     

     

    Faculty and staff notables

    Dr. Mary Brydon-Miller, Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, Evaluation and Organizational Development, was the keynote speaker for the Foreign Language Teacher Education Innovation and Development conference that was held at Central China Normal University in Wuhan, China. Her keynote address focused on Educational Action Research for Continuous Improvement and Transformative Practice providing an introduction to international contexts of this collaborative approach to classroom research.

    UofL Today holiday schedule

    The Thursday, Dec. 21 UofL Today email will be the last UofL Today email delivered before holiday break. Any campus announcements received after noon on Wednesday, Dec. 20, will not appear in UofL Today until Tuesday, Jan. 2.

    Using the Flexible Spending Account Grace Period in 2018

    Don’t forget that if you had a flexible spending account (FSA) in 2017, you still have until March 15, 2018 to spend the money with the university’s grace period. The 2017 accounts will still be handled by Chard-Snyder through the end of the grace period. The new vendor, Discovery Benefits, will then manage 2018 FSA accounts.     OnBase offline this weekend

    Information Technology’s upgrade of the OnBase system is rescheduled for this weekend. Please note this maintenance is outside of our regular PM window and OnBase will be unavailable from Friday, Dec. 15 at 5 p.m. until Monday, Dec. 18 at 8 a.m. This upgrade will include all document management applications, workflows and scanning.

    Pilot study for dissertation project
