    DID YOU KNOW

    The University of Louisville’s Singing Cardsmen was established in 2015-16 to extend choral experiences to more students. The non-auditioned ensemble is directed by Dr. Randi Bolding. The group performed “This Is My Wish” by Kevin Ross to share holiday wishes to the community. Watch it here

    Warm up Louisville sock drive results

    Winners of the Warm up Louisville sock drive include:

    • Christy Metzger, 1 pair men’s basketball tickets, Albany game
    • Sheila Birkla, 1 pair men’s basketball tickets, Albany game
    • Lori Fehler, 1 pair men’s basketball tickets, Pittsburgh game
    • Mike Miller, 1 pair men’s basketball tickets, Pittsburgh game
    • Paula Huffman, 1 parking space, 1 month at either Belknap Information Center

    The effort collected a total of 130 pairs of men’s socks, 40 pairs of children’s socks and 71 pairs of socks for women.

     

    This is the last UofL Today for the year

    The Thursday, Dec. 21 UofL Today email will be the last UofL Today email delivered before holiday break. Any campus announcements received after noon on Wednesday, Dec. 20, will appear in UofL Today Tuesday, Jan. 2.

    Lung Cancer in Kentucky: Improving Patient Outcomes is an interactive video course developed by KY Cancer Program at UofL as part of the KY LEADS Collaborative. The innovative course, available online here, features prevention and screening recommendations for lung cancer, and is available as short 15-20 minute segments or as a full 1-2 hour course for free CME/CE.

    New Year, healthy you

    The Get Healthy Now Wellness Center will offer over 50 weekly group fitness classes, free with membership, in the New Year. Members can also take advantage of our Open Gym times, the workout of the week, and personal training sessions with our certified, professional staff.
