The Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning announces an online course to prepare instructors to teach online-Delphi U Online. The fall offering will launch Sept. 14 and conclude November 8. Participants will learn two primary concepts: What it is like to be an online learner and how to effectively teach online. This is for full- and part-time faculty planning to teach a new fully online course or enhance an online course between Summer 2015 and Summer 2016.

3.) Free historical movie: ‘Iron Jawed Angels’ and discussion
July 16, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 2000 Douglas Blvd.

Come out and learn more about the women’s suffrage movement that eventually led the way for women’s right to vote. This free historical movie is presented by the UNA (United Nations Association)-USA Louisville chapter and UNA-USA KY; co-sponsored by the UofL Women’s Center; AAUW (American Association of University Women)-Louisville; Bonny Manning, WBRT Radio; Dr. Nancy Keck; and Louisville Coalition for CEDAW (Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women.
Additional Information: Free snacks and refreshments will be available. The movie will be in the church’s Social Hall (Room 120). 4.) Study of family relations for children with ADD/ADHD
Davidson Hall, Suite 308B
Paul Rosen, PhD, and The UofL RACER Lab are conducting a study examining family relations for children with ADD/ADHD. Parents and their children between the ages of 7 and 13 years are eligible to participate. Estimated duration of participation is one 3-hour session. Participants will be entered into a raffle for a $50 gift card and provided with a free ADHD screening assessment. IRB #15.0478
