UofL had a high profile presence at last week’s Pan American Games in Toronto. Cardinal swimmers Kelsi Worrell and Joao De Lucca won gold medals as part of Team USA, which was led by UofL swimming and diving coach Arthur Albiero. Read the story from WDRB here.

1.) Cards Under the Stars: ‘Cinderella’
July 24, 6:30 p.m., on the lawn between the Natural Sciences Building and Grawemeyer Hall, movie begins at dusk
Free admission
Grab a blanket, lawn chairs and a cooler and bring the family for a screening of the 2015 film “Cinderella.” Let the kids enjoy our inflatable park and games, a meet and greet area with Cinderella and other activities. Bring a picnic or purchase concessions from Sweet N Savory and Boss Hog’s BBQ. Also, watch soon for an announcement for a rescheduled screening of “Big Hero 6.”

The Office of Communications and Marketing launched in 2014 a university-wide event marketing calendar (http://events.louisville.edu) for use by the campus community. Join us for an informal refresher course on using the calendar. We’ll cover adding events to the calendar and answer any specific questions you might have. Register for one of our sessions listed below:

We combine Latin, hip hop and international music with fun and dynamic dance moves to boost your heart rate and burn calories. You will experience a total body workout and a good sweat by joining this dance-fitness party! Suitable for all fitness levels.

7.) Cards All In Ambassadors needed!
Would you like to join the Cards All In team? We need volunteers for the 2015-16 campaign! Representatives are needed from all departments across campus to serve as ambassadors. Ambassadors serve for one year terms and act as the giving liaison to their departments. All volunteers will be invited to attend a training at the University Club on Wednesday, August 12.
