1.) Deadline extended to Wednesday: Summer STEM GTA Mini-Academy
The deadline for the Summer 2015 STEM GTA Mini-Academy has been extended to Wednesday, June 17. The STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant Mini-Academy is designed to assist Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) in STEM fields to develop knowledge, skills, and excellence in classroom teaching specifically targeting STEM-related topics. 2.) Surplus Warehouse closing Thursday for auction preparations
The Surplus Warehouse will close on Thursday, June 18, to prepare for the next auction scheduled for July 11. The initial auction list is posted on the Surplus website. The Surplus Warehouse will be open for viewing and reserving surplus items for department use on Wednesday, June 17, 8 a.m.–noon and 1– 4 p.m. All reserved items should be removed as soon as possible. The Surplus Warehouse is located at 1901 S. Floyd St. on Belknap Campus.

As part of Neuroscience Grand Rounds, the Department of Neurology is pleased to announce that Yathish Haralur, MD, PGY-5 Chief Child Neurology Resident at UofL will present “Pediatric and Adolescent Stroke” on Thursday, June 18 at 8am in the Nursing School Rm. 2034.
