    1.) Live and dye naturally

    June 30, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Carnegie Center for Art and History, 201 East Spring St., New Albany, Indiana

    Free for UofL faculty, staff and students

    Environmental artist Neil Goss, Lawrence Art Center, Lawrence, Kansas, will lead an all-day installation of a temporary, site-specific artwork on the grounds of the Carnegie Center. No prior experience is necessary to participate. Participants will have a chance to try backstrap weaving, and discuss natural dyeing, herbal medicine, and environmental art. The Carnegie Center is a member of A&S’s Center for Arts and Culture Partnerships.

    2.) HIV testing certification class to be held Saturday

    Free

    The HSC Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Kentucky Department of Public Health are offering HIV Testing Certification at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3640 River Park Drive. Class size limited to the first 20 participants. Only 12 spots remain. Free lunch provided.

    3.) Suzuki Steps baby-toddler demonstration music class next week

    June 30, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Suzuki Stars Music Academy, 3415 Bardstown Rd, Suite 308A,

    This is a demonstration music classes for babies ages 0 through 3 and their parents. There is no charge. Using traditional nursery rhymes, action songs, lullabies and instruments, these classes seek to build on the child’s natural delight in learning and lay the foundation for musical skills such as beat, rhythm, pitch and tone.
