The group will lead an interactive workshop titled “The Man Behind the Mask: Workshop on Achievement, Masculinity, and Mental Health.”

The World Affairs Council of Kentucky and Southern Indiana’s Cryptocurrency event last week featured panelist Dr. Roman Yampolskiy, a professor of Computer Engineering and Computer Science at the Speed School of Engineering. This event focused on the rise of cryptocurrencies in the last year, their potential benefits in a global world and the pitfalls involved. The speakers covered the technical grounding, the possibilities of regulation, and the economic and political ramifications of what is still a new and little understood technology.

Sharma will present “Hemophilia in the 21st Century: Current Practice and Future Directions” focusing on understanding the pathophysiology of hemophilia, recognizing the clinical manifestations and complications of hemophilia, and understanding the acute and chronic management of patients with hemophilia.
