Pilot project grants from Helmsley Restorative Medicine Center are available for seeding of novel research to facilitate additional funding, foster new collaborative partnerships and/or support junior faculty for future extramural grant funding. We anticipate funding three pilot projects. Faculty leadership will review for consistency with the mission of the Helmsley Restorative Medicine Center and an advisory board will review proposals for innovation and scientific merit.

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) has been active at the University of Louisville since 1975 and was founded by Professor Brenda Hart. NSBE founded and adopted the Miss Black UofL Scholarship Pageant as a signature fundraising and cultural awareness event on campus. NSBE members will be selling tickets in the SAC multipurpose room from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day until the day of the pageant.
