This Friday’s Neuroscience Grand Rounds will feature a presentation from Vance Lemmon, PhD, professor and Walter G. Ross Distinguished Chair in Developmental Neuroscience, Department of Neurological Surgery, The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, University of Miami. Continuing education credit is available, and continental breakfast will be served.

The deadline to order a cap and gown for the May 2013 commencement ceremony is midnight Sunday, March 31. Graduation participants should visit the commencement web site for ceremony information and to place a cap and gown order.

7.) Final faculty and graduate student learning community on mentoring

The Faculty and Graduate Student Learning Community on Mentoring will join for their final session with the DGS Reading Group that has been meeting in parallel all year. Together, they will discuss graduate education and mentoring practices at UofL and evaluate strategies to extend these conversations in the departments and across the university. All faculty and graduate students are welcome to join this conversation, regardless of prior participation. Lunch available to registrants.
