Green Tips for faculty/staff leaving for summer
Before leaving campus for the summer, consider two actions to conserve and save: 1. Make sure your office or lab won’t be wasting energy while you’re away; turn off lights, computers and equipment, set thermostats to 80, shut windows tightly, and unplug everything possible: empty refrigerators, chargers, coffee makers, printers, and all non-essential equipment. 2. Give up the hassle and expense of driving to campus next year and receive a $400 voucher through UofL’s Earn-A-Bike Program (apply by Aug. 9).
