1.) National Employee Health and Fitness Day is tomorrow

Join Get Healthy Now for a fun-filled day of activities to encourage a healthier you. Refreshments provided at the wellness center will fuel your workout. Take advantage of our group fitness classes, plus Yoga (7:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.) and Pilates (5:30 p.m.) classes will be free of charge for members. We will also be raffling off GHN gear: post a photo of your department partaking in a “Healthy Moment to the GHN Facebook page to enter.

2.) Discussion on caring for aging parents

3.) Leadership Lessons: Critiquing Margaret Thatcher’s leadership style

In this workshop, we will examine her leadership style and discuss pros and cons through clips from the film, “The Iron Lady.”

5.) Leveraging the Power of Recognition

6.) University websites must upgrade to Plone 4 by June 30
Departments have until June 30 to rebuild their websites in the upgraded Plone 4 system. The new system features tripled speed, mobile-friendly design, Adobe Flash integration and more. Register for Plone 4 training here.

8.) Commission on Status of Women seeking nominations
The Commission on the Status of Women is soliciting nominations of both staff and faculty from all UofL campuses for appointment consideration to the commission. The list of nominees will be presented to President James Ramsey in June. Newly appointed members will start their terms by July 1.

9.) Faculty: Join your colleagues for a summer Book-in-Common Reading Circle
