Green Tip: Recycling is not free, generate less and break down boxesYou can recycle any kind of plastic, glass, metal, paper and cardboard in UofL’s single-stream recycling bins. But recycling costs UofL more than landfill dumping and we pay for it by volume, not weight. You can help us save money while cutting the amount of diesel burned and pollution emitted to empty our recycling dumpsters by generating less waste and taking care to always break down boxes and crush containers.
