    We’ve Got You Covered!

1.) Open Enrollment closes tonight at midnight

Go to the Open Enrollment website for information and to make your elections. Remember: If you want Flexible Spending Accounts or to participate in Get Healthy Now in 2015, you must enroll—even if you had FSAs and were in Get Healthy Now in 2014.

    Miscellaneous

2.) Inaugural ‘Feast on Equality’ 5K run is Nov. 8

Nov. 8, race starts 8 a.m. at Hogan’s Fountain in Cherokee Park

    $25 registration fee

The Feast on Equality raises money for the UofL LGBT Center. Join us for the first “Feast on Equality” 5K run presented by Humana Vitality and Humana Values. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced runner, this 5K is for you! Many LGBT students lose family and financial support when they come out of the closet, and are at greater risk of dropping out. The LGBT Center works to strengthen and sustain an inclusive campus community at the university.

    Additional Information: Register here.

3.) HSC educational session on Ebola, public health and ethics planned

    Nov. 5, 1 to 3 p.m., medical school instructional building (B building), room 115

Students and faculty from the schools of medicine, nursing and public health are offering an educational session to discuss Ebola, public health and ethics. Pizza will served; $1-$2 donation suggested and proceeds will go to send medical equipment to Sierra Leone via Supplies Over Seas.

    Additional Information: Bethany Hodge.

4.) Delphi Center seeks faculty input on teaching and learning programs

Faculty: Please take 10 minutes to offer your feedback about Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning programs. Your feedback is integral to the continuous improvement of the Delphi Center’s offerings and communications strategies. After completing the survey, you will also have the opportunity to provide feedback by participating in a faculty focus group. The survey will close Nov. 25. Take the survey here
