The second annual Calvin and Helen Lang Asian Studies Symposium will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with sessions in the Chao Auditorium, Ekstrom Library, on the Belknap Campus. Continental breakfast is included.

Panel discussions will include topics such as “The Global Culture of Museums and Exhibitions in China,” “Contemporary Indian Democracy in a Global Perspective” and “South Korea: Poised to Lead the World Economy in the 21st Century.”

The symposium is free and open to the public. Reservations are required for a $15 luncheon with the presenters in the University Club. April 10 is the deadline for lunch reservations, which can be made by contacting the event co-sponsor, Crane House, at 502-635-2240 or info@cranehouse.org
