Great Conversations, which are taped live at the Kentucky Author Forum by Kentucky Educational Television, will begin airing on WORLD Channel on June 1. WORLD, a 24/7 full service multicast channel originating from WGBH/Boston, features 149 channels, covering over 61 percent of the total U.S. market.
Through partnership with KET, the taped Forum interviews have been distributed for optional airing on PBS member stations across the country as “Great Conversations” since 2006. The distribution through WORLD will significantly broaden the national exposure for the “Great Conversations” series, assuring airings in top tier markets of New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and San Francisco, among others. A total of 16 “Great Conversations” are scheduled to be aired on WORLD this summer.
The University of Louisville Kentucky Author Forum series is produced by Mary Moss Greenebaum and sponsored by the University of Louisville, Brown-Forman and The Humana Foundation.
