ELSB (Engage Lead Serve Board) is the community service arm of the UofL Student Government Association and works to enhance the educational experience of students.
The event, held in Student Activities Center Multipurpose Room, starts at 6 p.m. with dinner from Mark’s Feed Store. The presentation begins at 7 p.m. Multipurpose Room Student Activities Center.
Braun is the founder and CEO of Pencils of Promise, a nonprofit organization that builds schools in the developing world. His bestselling book is titled “The Promise of a Pencil: How an Ordinary Person Can Create Extraordinary Change.” Braun made the Forbes’ 30 Under 30 List for 2012 and Wired magazine’s Smart List of 50 People Changing the World for 2012.
