Faculty and staff will need their UofL IDs to get in free. Guests can tour with them for $10 — more than $8 off the regular admission rate. The offer applies during regular hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
UofL President James Ramsey will host a special reception for UofL employees and their guests Tuesday, June 7, at 6 p.m. Admission to the museum is free for all employees and their guests from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
“Da Vinci- The Genius” took more than 10 years to create and features a vast array of full-scale machine inventions crafted from Da Vinci’s personal notebooks. It also has reproductions of his most famous Renaissance art, including the “Mona Lisa,” “Virgin of the Rocks” and “The Annunciation,” as well as a high-definition recreation of “The Last Supper.”
The hands-on exhibit is suitable for all ages.
