The Music eX Series is starting its second year. Dror Biran, artistic director and UofL piano professor, will play a series of concerts from October through April with such string instrument artists as Keith Robinson, Cathy Meng Robinson, Brittany MacWilliams, J. Patrick Rafferty, Erin Rafferty and Paul York.
Born in Israel and winner of top international prizes, Biran established the Music eX Series to support talented students in the same way he received help as he worked to launch his music career.
“Scholarships opened doors for me,” Biran said. “I am thrilled for both the opportunity to give back and to play with distinguished artists the great music from Germany, France, Russia, Czech Republic and the USA.”
