That’s the message of new t-shirts being sold by the university.
Proceeds from the shirts will benefit faculty and staff most severely affected by the flood and previous storms through the RestoreUofL Fund.
The front of the shirts read “It was a dark and stormy day…” while the back displays a flood-inspired logo and the words “I survived.” The shirts cost $10 each. Cash or check payments are accepted.
Shirts are available in adult sizes M-3XL.
Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8, shirts will be sold at the following locations:
- West and North Information Centers (Belknap Campus) – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- HSC Parking Office (Located in the Chestnut Street Garage) – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Belknap Parking Office (Located in the Floyd Street Garage) – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Student Activities Center, first floor – Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The university continues to accept donations through the RestoreUofL website Contributions from faculty and staff will support employee needs; external contributions will be used to help restore the campus, which has suffered severe loss of trees and landscaping due to the flood and recent storms.
