The event, featuring The Tymes Band, will begin at 8 p.m. at the Red Barn, Belknap Campus, next to the Swain Student Activities Center. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
The concert is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted at the door to offset show costs and to benefit UofL students through scholarships and other programs.
A group of UofL students and administrators established the Red Barn in 1969. Formerly a part of the Caldwell Tanks Inc., the building was renovated in 1978 and has become a multi-purpose facility serving students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community. In 2008 UofL named the Red Barn for George J. Howe, the building’s longtime coordinator.
The Red Barn Alumni Association and the Arts and Sciences Ambassador Program are sponsors of the Red Barn 44th Year Reunion Concert.
