The band, which plays soul and classic music dating to the 1970s, will be the feature act for the Red Barn Alumni Association (RBAA) 25th Anniversary Concert. Drummer Craig Lush works at UofL’s physical plant.
Doors open for the concert at 7:30 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m.
Admission is a donation of any amount to the RBAA. Proceeds will defray the cost of the event and benefit UofL students. Checks received are 100 percent tax deductible.
Free hot dogs and snacks will be available.
The RBAA formed in 1985. Each year, the group plays host to a number of events that bring together students and alumni. Among them are the Crawfish Bowl, Red Barn Birthday Party and the annual RBAA Golf Scramble. Money raised from them goes to Red Barn programming and student aid.
RBAA also maintains the Florence M. Strickler Red Barn Alumni Association Scholarship. Since its inception in 1998, that fund has distributed more than 200 scholarship awards totaling more than $41,470.
