The 26,000 sq. ft. building was purchased for $3.1 million and will be managed by Nucleus, an arm of the foundation. Along with three other buildings managed by Nucleus on two adjacent city blocks, the facility will become part of the research and technology park Nucleus is creating downtown.
“Nucleus’ plan is to concentrate similar companies and entities in a two-block area supporting entrepreneurship, research-based companies and the lifelong wellness and aging cluster in Louisville,” Nucleus CEO Vickie Yates Brown said. “The Dulworth building will be a key part of that goal.”
Brown said discussions are underway to determine both the long- and short-term uses for the building. The other three Nucleus buildings are almost fully leased.
