· Ceramic arts students and faculty will offer a semester’s worth of creations for sale at the annual clay sale. Shoppers will find everything from plates, bowls and mugs, to decorative pieces. The sale gives students insight into the business side of art; proceeds benefit the Hite Art Institute’s Ceramics Art Organization and student programming.

· UofL Dance Theatre will perform “Clara’s Dream,” the dream sequence of Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker Suite” ballet. The show features the Land of Sweets and Cotton Candy, angels and toy soldiers.

· School of Music faculty and students will present a special Christmas concert featuring music from the Glenn Miller Orchestra’s recording, “In the Christmas Mood.” Faculty member John La Barbera produced it and arranged the music to sound like music Miller himself would have made post-World War II if he had survived the war. The concert will include selections such as “White Christmas,” “Sleigh Ride” and “The Christmas Song.”
