As university photographer, he’s the guy who shows up with his camera to document UofL events as different as a groundbreaking surgical procedure and an annual beauty pageant; Greek fundraiser and presidential outreach tour.
Many of Fougerousse’s photos end up on UofL Today or in university publications – but not all do.

Q: How many photos do you shoot a year?
A: About 40,000, not all I keep. It averages to 3,268 a month.

A: Jazz Week/month is always fun. Get entertained while you work.

A: From 2009, the shot of Jerry Tolson through the window at Jazzy Blu or the shot of College of Business Board of Advisors at the window.

A: Twenty years in May 2010. That’s a lot of photos.
