Step outside of your comfort zone, get involved and enjoy the city of Louisville - these are just some pieces of advice our upperclassmen have offered our new students.

Though an unfamiliar, sprawling campus and an impossibly thick syllabus might seem intimidating to incoming students at first, some of UofL’s upperclassmen have offered tips to help them get comfortable with their new college experience. For example:

  • Use the free tutoring services
  • Step outside of your comfort zone
  • Enjoy the city of Louisville
  • Practice good time management
  • Get involved
  • Call home
  • Make yourself who you want to be
  • Don’t step on the Cardinal bird
