KET to air UofL’s ‘Entrepreneurs Meet Innovators’ talk with Alice Houston

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – KET’s “Kentucky Entrepreneur” series will feature prominent Louisville businesswoman Alice K. Houston’s recent question-and-answer session with students and community entrepreneurs at the University of Louisville College of Business.

    Houston, chairman and CEO of HJI Supply Chain Solutions, appeared as part of the e+i Entrepreneurs Meet Innovators program at the college’s Forcht Center for Entrepreneurship. Houston and her husband, Wade, founded the second-largest minority-owned company in the United States and the largest minority-owned transportation company in North America before she became president and CEO of HJI in 2005. She is an active member of the community, serving on several boards, and was named Louisvillian of the Year in 2008.
