LOUISVILLE, Ky.- As Kentucky’s legislators debate the value and advisability of a third round of funding for the innovative Research Challenge Trust Fund, U of L announced today that the second $33 million allotment has been fully matched by private dollars. The resulting $66 million will endow research positions in several areas of emphasis, according to president John Shumaker.
