U OF L OFFERS PROGRAM TO HELP IMPROVE DENTAL PRACTICES

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville is offering a three-day institute designed to help dentists increase the profitability and value of their practices.

    The U of L School of Dentistry and College of Business and Public Administration are sponsoring the Dental Executive Institute Oct. 24-27 at the Seelbach Hotel in downtown Louisville.

    The institute is designed to help dentists develop their planning, accounting, finance, marketing and entrepreneurial skills. The program will include seminars, case studies, guest speakers and award-winning faculty who will share practical tips.

    Institute participants will receive 22 ADA CERP-approved continuing education units.

    John Drees is a 35-year veteran in the Office of Communications and Marketing. As vice president, communications and marketing, he works closely with the president, provost and other senior administrators, oversees the Office of Communications and Marketing, including media relations, marketing and brand, broadcast, social media, internal communication, crisis communication, visitor services and special events and activities.
