LOUISVILLE, Ky. — University of Louisville President Dr. James Ramsey will meet with students at Paducah-area high schools and host a “Celebration of the Arts” concert Sept. 26.

The visit is part of UofL’s 2011 Presidential Outreach, a program where Ramsey and other university officials reach out to potential students, their families and UofL alumni across Kentucky. UofL has 320 students and nearly 700 alumni from McCracken and surrounding counties.

During the school visits, Raine Thompson and Brooke Cantwell—who are UofL students and graduates of Paducah Tilghman High School—will speak along with Ramsey. Also, the UofL Jazz in Schools Ensemble will perform at all of the schools except Reidland High School.
