UofL expects nearly 800 to participate in Dec. 16 commencement ceremony

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. –Nearly 800 students are expected to participate in the University of Louisville’s winter commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. Dec. 16 at the KFC Yum! Center.

    UofL President James Ramsey will preside at the event and marketing major Ashley Dunlap will be the student speaker. About 1,300 students will graduate at the conclusion of the fall 2011 semester.

    Commencement-related events will be held at the KFC Yum! Center (unless otherwise noted) and include:

    Cindy Hess has more than 30 years of experience in communications, marketing and investor relations, including more than a decade at UofL. She is "sort of" retired but happy to come back to the Office of Communications and Marketing to help with special projects and assignments.
